The Arlington Mansfield Corps School of Performing Arts hosted a meaningful and inspiring Spring Concert, “Sounds of Alleluia,” on Friday, May 17th at the corps facility. The evening welcomed just over 100 attendees and featured 10 performances, including solos by students who faithfully participate in the program each week. Highlights of the evening was the presentation of eight student awards, recognizing both growth and excellence across each class—Piano, Dance, Advanced Brass, and Beginner Brass—with honors for Most Improved and Best Overall. In addition, instructor staff introduced a new and special recognition, the “Salvation in Action” Award, created to honor a student who exemplifies dedication beyond the classroom. This inaugural award was presented to 14-year-old Aylin Zacarias for her outstanding commitment to music, ministry, and service. Aylin has represented The Salvation Army at numerous special events and has complet ...
